Maayan treats adults and older people in language, speech, swallowing and communication — often after a stroke or a diagnosis. The person reading the site is rarely the patient. It is usually a son or a daughter, looking late at night, who does not yet know the vocabulary.

Interviews with Maayan and with the people who had already called her set the order of the site: what someone needs to understand first, what reassures them, and how few steps it should take to reach a phone number.

It runs to twelve pages in Hebrew — treatments, how it works, stories, articles, about, contact — with phone and WhatsApp reachable from every one of them. The articles are written for families rather than for clinicians, which is what makes them findable by the words people actually search.
